The theme draws on classic outback imagery: red earth, boomerangs, didgeridoo horns and an opal hunter ready to guide the exploration.

Wins are awarded with consecutive symbols from left to right across the 10 lines, among 6 low-value symbols, 4 high-value symbols, a Wild and Opal Scatter symbols.

Australian Outback Symbols

The low-value symbols are the classic J, Q, K and A card symbols, along with the horn and boomerang, which with 5 matching symbols pay up to 20x the stake.

The high-value symbols are the koala, kangaroo, snake and crocodile: the latter two, with 5 symbols in line, pay up to 100x the stake.

The Wild symbol, depicted by the hunter, substitutes for any regular symbol. When it appears alone on a payline, it pays independently: 3 Wilds pay 3x the current stake, 4 Wilds pay 10x, while 5 Wilds pay up to 200x the current stake.

The Scatter symbol is represented by the purple opal, which can appear in the base game with multipliers ranging from 1x to 50x.

Australian Outback Bonus Features

Golden Respin Feature

High-value symbols can appear in golden form, but during a single spin only one symbol type at a time can turn golden. When this happens, the golden symbols become fixed on screen and a respin is triggered: if another symbol of the same type lands, or a purple opal, it also becomes fixed and the game awards another respin. A Wild landing during this phase also transforms into a fixed purple opal. If no useful symbols land, the feature ends and the last displayed combination is paid.

Hold and Win Bonus Feature

Landing at least 6 purple opal symbols anywhere on the reels triggers the Hold and Win feature. The grid transforms, adding two extra rows (one above, one below), initially locked with special block tiles. The bonus starts with 3 respins, and only opals or empty spaces can land on the reels.

Besides the standard purple opal (values from 1x to 50x), special opals can appear: the red opal collects other opal types, freeing up space on the grid; the turquoise opal unlocks an entire row; the green opal applies a random multiplier from 2x to 10x to adjacent opals; the rainbow opal awards the Jackpot, ranging from 25x the stake with a single rainbow opal up to 5000x with five rainbow opals.

Every time a valid opal lands, the respins reset to 3. When the grid fills up or no more useful symbols land, the feature ends and the total win is calculated, being the sum of all locked opals plus any jackpots collected.
